United States

We are proud to call Blacksburg, Virginia our home base and to work closely with Virginia Tech students and professors. We believe the university and its town have a wealth of knowledge and spirit that make it unique. While we have volunteers and supportive communities throughout the United States and in other developed countries as well, we remain true to our original mission of connecting the Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic community with the New River Valley, Virginia community. In the NRV, we seek to share our mission and serve with those around us by leading the following projects:

Massie's Outreach

A holistic learning center and other activities in a Christiansburg mobile home park give community members a tangible chance to grow.

Sister Schools

Sister school relationships connect Blacksburg public schools with grassroots schools in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, teaching both parties about the lives of the others.

Virginia Tech Project Esperanza Student Organization (VT PESO)

Our Virginia Tech student organization works to provide volunteer opportunities, raise awareness, and fundraise.
